I got this for my son for Christmas, this was all he wanted! He is 16 and ever since he was a little boy his father has had one of these. And now that he can cook for himself, this is all he has asked for. They are great,fast and easy! You can cook so much and so many different things on these. I would go so far as to say these are one of the greatest things invented! Everyone needs one!!! Thank You!

After making a few sandwiches, the teflon seperator that is supposed to seal the sandwich down the middle wore off. As a consequence, when you try to remove the sandwich, it falls appart. Very dissapointing!

I bought this product specifically to make my daughter grilled cheese. While it is basically what I wanted in that it's easy to clean, it just does not get hot enough to make a crispy crust on the grilled cheese. I tried several different types of bread - I also tried using butter and not using butter on the bread prior to grilling. Both types ended up somewhat soggy. I was quite disappointed with the machine for this reason.
If you love a crispy crust on your grilled cheese, then this machine is not for you!

Got one in Belgium and found it so useful to have in the kitchen that whilst organising a visit to a friend in Florida, I ordered the Melitta on-line and had it sent to him. Great price. Great sandwiches - fast and easy. I definitely recommed it. Handy to have at home for both young and old.

My boyfriend's kids LOVE grilled cheese, but the MESS it made was frustrating. Great price, great product. Would highly recommend it.

Well I liked it at first...Cleaning it was hard especially the cheese and especially if its left there too long..I wouldn't recommend it though..I bout another brand and its working perfectly and still has its nonstick surface.

I have tried making simple cheese sandwiches and every time my sandwich would get stuck and when I would try hard to scrap carefully it would always leave holes in my sandwich and cheese would ooze out. Also it doesnt seal my sandwich either. Would not recommend.
