Like a gentle rain.,

This review is from: Melnor 5390 Gentle Rain Nozzle Spray Wand (Lawn & Patio)
I bought the Melnor 5390 spray wand for my wife. She is a short person, making it difficult for her to water the many hanging planters we have around our yard. The Melnor wand now makes this job one of enjoyment. She no longer gets wet trying to reach the plants with a drink of water. The on and off lever is a wonderful feature, allowing her to use it in different areas of the yard with out wasting water.

This review is from: Melnor 5390 Gentle Rain Nozzle Spray Wand (Lawn & Patio)
This watering wand has the 3 most important features I wlook for in a wand. 1. Excellent diffusion - this allows it to be used on even the most fragile of plants with out damage to flowers, stems, or disturbance of soils. 2. On/off capability - this prevents wasting water and wetting of areas between plants that do not need or would suffer from over watering. 3. Good reach - allows watering of high hanging baskets and other hard to reach plants. The only draw backs are the on/off mechanizim looks like it may be fragile and personally I would prefer a longer reach. Don't get me wrong the one I have has not had any problems with the on/off mechanism. It just looks like it may fail. I am purchasing my second one for my front garden and may purchase more as gifts later in the year.
