After trying several other workouts that do work(malibu pilates, mini stepper, Walk away the pounds{several dvds} and Denise Austin's core with stability ball) none have worked as fast or effective as promised. The Melt It Off Program does the exact opposite, everything you see in the infomercial is what you get. So seeing the Mitch Gaylord "Melt It Off" infomercial only ONCE I decided to try one more product and what really sold me was that the workouts burn up to 1000 calories per session and keep burning after you've finished. I've tried Walk Away The Pounds, and yes I am a huge fan of Leslie Sansone, her workouts are for those who are Beginning or those looking for a simple workout without impact yet get results. For me doing those took too long because I'm one of those that expects results quickly. Especially if that's what the case cover says. Anyway, I read several consumer reviews on the Melt it Off program and the only bad thing that came up was the company charging month after month for extras people didn't order. However I purchased directly from their site phone number anyway and heard over 10 "special offers". I was able to decline them so after ordering there wasn't a problem. I didn't pay for express shipping, only priority(2.99) to be sent out from the company. It took one day to process the order, 4 days to ship out and 1 day to receive the kit. In other program infomericals most say you can use their 6 day program to lose fast and up to 10lbs. Then you receive their product and it says not to do the express until you've done the regular program for a couple of weeks. The Melt It Off infomercial claims to have a 3 day kickstart && that is exactly the case. You can start immediately and it comes with a 3 day grocery list.Read more ›

I purchased the Melt It Off program on Amazon rather than on their [...] site because the official site tries to automatically sign you up for a monthly vitamin subscription. I didn't see a way to opt out of that on their site, so I searched here and found the same program minus the vitamin rip-off. It cost a little bit more but it's a one time charge rather than every month.

The workout program itself is pretty good. I like that it's got 4 modules- A quick 10 minute all over body workout, a one hour cardio, a one hour strength and also a core workout. The moves are pretty easy to follow along and they do work the body pretty well. The legs and core workout depend mostly on your own body weight, which is fine because it's a great workout. The arms workout is lacking because it depends on the ball weight and there just isn't enough weight in that ball to do a lot of good. I will probably buy one of the heavier balls for that part of the workout.

I was plenty sore after each workout, so I know it's hitting the target muscle groups.

I originally saw this product on an infomercial, but wasn't going to pay what they were asking and luckily I found it here on Amazon! I wanted to try it out because I like to work out, it looked easy and FUN. I have alot of other workout dvd's and machines, but I was bored with them. I started a part time job last year and kind of put my workouts last on the list. I noticed a few months back that my pants were getting snug and I was feeling uncomfortable in my own skin.
I received my box quickly, 3 days after I ordered it and picked a start date. Don't be shocked when you get it that it only has 1 dvd with everything on it even though the picture shows several dvd's. You can page through and pick your workout which is a time saver anyway. June 2nd was my first workout. I did the 10 minute workout and half of the ab routine. I realized then how outta shape I let myself get in a year's time, but I felt energized after the workout. The next day I was a little sore, but not that "I can't move for the next 3 days". To date I have lost a total of 5.2lbs., an inch in my hips and 1 1/2 inches in my waist. I definately recommend this workout product for anyone who just wants variety, fun and results. It has 2 harder workouts on the dvd, but I do prefer the 10 minute one as I am usually in a crunch for time. You will sweat with just that 10 minute workout so make sure ya can take a shower after your done. I have been telling all my friends and even customers in my store about it. I am just very very pleased with this product. I will be using this for a long time to come!!

I'm ordering this one for a friend. I had already purchased this product, although I have only been using it for a week I did lose 4LBS and 4 inches. For me this workout is extremely hard, half way through I wanted to fall to the floor it gets easier the more you workout. I own alot of workout tapes ,but this one is a keeper. Right when you are ready to quit Mitch starts talking his inspirational speech that keeps you in the game.

We just got our shipment in the mail last night. The only thing that bugged me is that we were unaware that the program comes with a 30-day supply of green tea pills, which are supposed to help speed up weight loss and boost your immune system. The pills that came in the box were free, but they will keep sending you more pills, once a month, and automatically charge your card for them unless you call and cancel your subscription to the pills before your trial period is over. I did not appreciate being automatically signed up for these pills without my knowledge.
However, I did the workout for the first time last night, and it was HARD. I couldnt even get through the warm up without quitting the first time. But then, I started it over from the beginning and did the entire workout without the G-ball, which was much easier for me. I'll probably continue for about 2 weeks before I try using the ball again. It's only been one day, but I can already see how you can burn 1000+ calories per workout. My body was burning. Many times, I had to go at a slower pace rather than keep up with Mitch, but I think I'll get better at it if I stick with it. I'm looking forward to sticking with this program, it's a very challenging workout.
Make sure you have a couple bottles of water within reach before you start, and a towel or mat for the pushups and abs parts. And I would definitely suggest you do this workout before bedtime! You'll be tired and a little sore, so it will help you fall asleep faster and you should have a good night's rest. If you are just starting out with this program, you may be too tired to get through the day if you do it in the morning.
