This song (and several others from this CD) are cultural and musical influences lost for the most part from our timeline. If only I had heard of this band when they were at their prime, I would've been much more enthusiastic about the genre as a whole. The build of energy in Melted is such that by the time the track is about to wind to a close, I am always invigorated and taken away to a trace of air-guitar jamming; my lizard brain of musical creativity awakened and striving to churn out further inaudible follow-up sections to continue the climax of rock-ecstasy ad infinitum. Listen to it.
