Review

"Stories about tradition and togetherness. Love as well as food." -- Cathy Thomas, Food Editor, Orange County Register, December 17, 2000

About the Author

Judy Bart Kancigor, former editor of the Paperweight, the newspaper of Weight Watchers of Southern California, presently writes a food column for the Fullerton News Tribune and is a cooking instructor and contributing food writer to the Orange County Register and Canadian Jewish News. Since publication of Melting Pot Memories, she has spoken at synagogues and churches and for organizations and institutions, including the Skirball Museum in Los Angeles. Judy reminds us, with her own brand of nostalgic humor, of the importance of preserving memories.

What a wonderful book! The anecdotes were great - the pictures could have been from my family and the Yiddish expressions at the bottom of the pages were very nostalgic. Loved it bought 5 copies.
