Noreaga was great on "The War Report." He was o.k. on "N.O.R.E.," but the tight beats and great collabos made up for it. "Melvyn Flynt" is "N.O.R.E." without the tight beats and great collabos. "Play That S**t" featuring Juvenile and Lil' Wayne is the lone real standout track. "Sometimes" and "Wethuggedout" (feat. Missy) are above average tracks, but the best overall advice--buy the "Play That S**t" single and leave the album on store shelves.

What is Noreaga?

A good rapper... no.

Bottom line is that this cd was disappointing.

This album by Noreaga is great just like his privious album, N.O.R.E. If I had to say which one is better I would choose N.O.R.E., but this is just as good. Noreaga comes with his own blazin beats and adds his decent lyrical skill. In other words a great follow up to a great album. His fans should enjoy this one!

Once again da Iraq representa drops another bangin' album. If you like War Report and N.O.R.E you'll love this one. In fact if you like any of the Queens rapper like Mobb Deep, Nas, Lost Boyz, you'll love this b/c it has the queens sound. If you don't get it you're sleepin. peace

NORE MIGHT NOT BE A LYRICIST BUT NOBODY CAN TOUCH HIS HOT RAP STYLE I LIKED THE CD EXCEPT FOR THE SONG WITH MISSY ELLIOT IF YOU LIKE NORES RAP STYLE YOU SHOULD GO PICK UP THIS CD ITS WORTH BUYING HE GOT SOME REAL SONGS ON THERE THAT I WAS FEELING LIKE FIRST "DAY HOME" AND "SOMETIMES" THIS WAS A GOOD FOLLOW UP CD TO N.O.R.E. Noreaga, hits back, with Melvyn Flynt da Hustla, but this one doesn't hit as hard as N.O.R.E. This album has a couple good joints, but I can't figure out why "Half-Baked"didn't make the final cut. I was looking for it, but it ain't even on it. Then, he hits us with some good joints like "Oh no" "If u Want it" and "Bood Money pt. 3" Personallly I expected more, same old beats some bad rhymin, but hey He's only a thug, as he explains on the CD booklet.

I'd say this isn't as good as his first solo album but still a lot better than all the crap out there. If you really like Noreaga, get this, but if you just like his singles you'll probaly be dissapointed. Cocaine Business & If U Want It are a couple of hot songs. Watch out for CNN "The Reunion" coming later this year.

In a day and age where there are so many rappers using gimmicks and catch phrases to sell records, it is truly a hip hop delight to hear NOREAGA droppin ear tantilizing rhymes on head bobbin' tracks. Yo this kid could flow for ever it seems, you'll be instantly attached as the first cut entitled "Sometimes" mellow with a true bass bump takes you on a tour of Noreaga's life and his love for his deceased father. And then there's "Da Hustla" which just draws your ears closer with its' cyth-inspired beats. And for all you West Coast Mobbin Homies, G's and Hustla's you must hear "Cocaine Business" it's a str8 g tale of mobbin thru Vegas and N.Y.C. after hearing this one you'll be wondering if NORE is really from New York or the west. And then there's one everyone seems to like, "Blood Money" I've been getting calls from Wisconsin to New Orleans every since this single dropped. But the thing that makes this CD' so unique is that there really aren't any weak cuts you can basically put it in the deck and let it spin. BIG UP to NORE on this one it's a sure shot, already GOLD and Approaching Platinum, Congrats to NOREAGA

Many rap artists go through a second album jinx, and Noreaga is the latest. It happens to the best of them Nas,Jay-Z,and Snoop. All of these artist first albums are certified classics,but they fall off a bit with their second effort. In no way does Melvyn Flynt: Da Hustla measures up to last years N.O.R.E. NO WAY WHAT SO EVER. Even Capone-N-Noreaga's WAR REPORT blows Nore's latest effort out the box. The tightest joints on the album is GANSTA'S WATCH,BLOOD MONEY PT.3,and SOMETIMES,my man Noreaga holds it down on those cuts too badd the rest of the album falls short of Noreaga incredible ability,but I'm definite when Capone-N-Noreaga drop their second joint in the year 2G it will make up for it. I mean don't get me wrong Nore is one of the illest lyricts on the East Coast it's just the fact that Melvyn Flynt:Da Hustla is not in the same category as N.O.R.E. WORD IS BOND SIGNING OFF THE YOUNGBLOOD PEACE.

good album. my favs are "Sometimes", "Da Hustla", "Blood Money 3" and "We Don't Play That". worth checking it out
