These are extremely poor batteries. Some of the batteries in the pack work OK, but many of the batteries in a pack are duds. These duds tend to run out of juice within a week of installation, and more often than not, they quickly start leaking. This has happened multiple times in multiple devices. In one device, I didn't notice it in time, and just a few weeks after installation the battery acid had seriously corroded the inside. Now I'm afraid to use the remaining batteries, and I need to go through all my devices that have batteries to get rid of all of these, or else risk losing the device to battery acid. I've never seen anything like it. I was googling "member's mark batteries recall," because I was sure they must have been recalled. Nothing yet, which just tells me Sam's is not doing their due diligence, because they must know about this by now.

I bought these batteries because they were alkaline, made in the USA, and also a great deal. Well, the joke was on me. You get what you pay for and these batteries suck to say it bluntly. I have a digital recorder that takes two AA batteries. With Duracell or Energizer I get about 6 hours of recording time. I put two Members Mark batteries in and it only ran for 52 minutes before they were dead. 6 hours vs. 52 minutes! It cost me a live show that I was trying to record. The remaining ones are being returned for a refund. These batteries are pathetic...do not buy them.

I tried Member's Mark AA batteries in my GPS (not something you want to go dead) and got a low battery warning within four hours. Major brands give me a full day's worth of runtime without powering down the GPS. If you like being lost in the woods without a way home, use these batteries. If not, use something else and carry a map and compass.

Incredibly poor quality. . I have over a half a pack left after buying a couple of years ago and every one (over 25 left) is completely dead. I did not even get half the shelf life claimed.
