The Member's Mark® 14 pc. hard anodized cookware set features premium materials with all the advantages of the latest generation in nonstick coating. Hard anodized cookware is harder than other conventional cookware set. Hard anodization is a manufacturing process that treats the aluminum to make it harder and more durable. The result is a solid coating distinguished by its dark gray color. This process creates a surface typically harder than other conventional cookware.

Good for the price, but not as durable as I had hoped,

We have owned the full set for about 8 years and they have been great. As far as pans go, we have been very happy. Unfortunately, the non stick coating is now starting to come off on most of the pans so they have to be replaced. I'm guessing that stuff is not too good for our diet. We have always hand washed and taken very good care of them. I wish the non stick coating would have lasted longer.
