Best Value for the Price I Paid, December 3, 2011
This review is from: Member's Mark Dual Pressure Settings Pressure Cooker - 6.3 qt.
Bought this pressure cooker for only $20 at Sam's Club--over a year ago. I never used one before because I was afraid. It is easy to use, and came with good instructions. It has worked very well, and I use it on average 2x/week. I've been super happy with it.
Only recently have I noticed a little water sputtering out of the unit. I suspect it's time for a new gasket. Can't seem to find a good replacement. I'm going to call a knowledgeable appliance parts company tomorrow. Even though I did not pay too much for it, to replace it with another stainless steel unit would be very expensive. Aluminum ones are easy to come by, but I don't cook with aluminum--safety issue.

Buyer beware..item may not be warrantied, March 16, 2011

Loved it while it lasted. Bought it January 2010. Have used it about 5 times. I went to use it last weekend and it doesn't work. It doesn't come up to pressure. It's clean and the gasket is in perfect condition. I contacted my local Sam's Club to ask how I go about getting a new one since it has a lifetime warranty but I don't have the box it came in or the receipt.
They told me that since it's past 30 days that I can't return or exchange it plus it is no longer being manufactured. I got on the Sam's Club website and it is "to view" only and out of stock.
So....buyer beware. Luckily I only paid $20 bucks for it.
