When looking for albums to relax with, I try and find lush rich sounds. I think Meme hits my sweet spot with very textured songs, which may be overproduced for some (like my wife). However the album rolls smoothly from one track to the next displaying a continuity many albums today lack. For what it's worth, I find myself listening to this album at work and when driving at night. The mood matches mine during those times very well.

I enjoyed Milosh's first album, but it didn't completely blow me away. With Meme, though, he's made his first real masterpiece. Using his breakup with his girlfriend as a starting point, he gets into all the post-breakup issues all guys experience, from lust and casual sex to guilt and loneliness. Ladies, if you want to see how the male mind works after you break our hearts, pick this one up. Subtle and beautiful, this will definitely make my year-end top 10. One to watch!

I ordered this CD based on the song "The City" which I heard on youtube. I was quite disappointed to find that most of the songs on this CD are not only highly repetetive, but contain distracting snare/drum beats that overwhelm the melodic background tones. I definitely agree with Mr. Hernandez's review that it does seem like the album has a divided essence to it, and feel like the CD would've actually been better if they removed the faster-paced drum beats that make it difficult to mellow out to the tracks.
