Memetics by Tim Tiler is an important and authorative book on the subjet. Tyler's knoledge of cultural evolution and memetics is truly extensive. Memes and ideas can be positive or negative to persons, organisations, cultures having them. Memetics, Memes and the Science of Cultural Evolution is easy to understand and convays well the paramount importance that this subject has in our information age. I looked for information on this subject and this book and Time Tyler's blog and web site is a treasure. It is very well referenced,I highly recommand it. Get it first.
