Book Description

September 20, 2007
Some memory books claims that you can remember names for the rest of your life or remember absolutely everything in a book just by using a particular technique. Oddbjørn By set a memory world record in 2006 and knows the best memorisers in the world. And he knows that there exists no memory technique which can make you quickly learn and remember a whole textbook. Nor is it possible to remember everything, forever. But it s possible to improve your memory a lot. By learning Memo.

Since 2006, the author has received more than 10,000 grateful emails from readers worldwide. Readers that have used Memo successfully for exams, learning languages, delivering speeches and presentations, remembering dances, card tricks and much more.

As Antti R. from Finland wrote in an email:
I have read memory books before, but your approach is by far the best: it's like your best friend telling you how the techniques really work. Thanks!

Thanks for a life-changing book. It saved me when I was in trouble. In my second year of university I failed on two exams. I panicked. But then I read about your book, and that made the whole difference! Fantastic!Anna S, Sweden

I need to thank you! Your book must have helped me a lot. I m so in university in autumn! ;) I applied to helsinki university to 2 programs and they accepted me to both! I still cannot believe this, it means that I will be a teacher one day. This school takes 5 years so I for sure have to use your techniques later on. 1600 people applied to this school and they accepted 120. I was one of them! Thanks! Anna Sorvari, Finland

If you are a tad forgetful like me, this book will remind you to remember! It contains great tips for clearing cloudy memories. --Top 10 Books on Self-Improvement, allwomenstalk.com

I just had the chance to apply the techniques to an exam for the first time: I memorized loads of names, dates, and detailed information about literary history. Let me say that I have *very* bad exam anxiety, especially for essays. Using Memo made a remarkable difference. Focusing was much easier as well. And yes, I got an A, and still remember the all the information quite vividly. --Brede Olsen, Norway

5.0 out of 5 stars It actually works, October 21, 2007
This review is from: Memo: The Easiest Way to Improve Your Memory (Paperback)
Read some good reviews about this book and decided to try it.
Was not disappointed..., following the book I was pleasantly surprised
when I actually was able to remember large amounts of information
without writing it down on paper.
It`s not like a "free lunch", you do have to make an effort, but if you do,
you will be rewarded and it`s something you can use the rest of your life.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very usefull structured approach to improve memory, July 8, 2008

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Memo: The Easiest Way to Improve Your Memory (Paperback)
I bought this book to improve my memory for job interviews and names. I have always had a hard time to remember especially names and phone numbers.

The book takes a structured approach to memorize phone numbers, names, academics, calendar items and much more. If you have never read anything about memory then I would highly recommend spending some time on the memory techniques in this book - It will prove very valuable.

The book is very easy to read and Oddbjørn By have a funny and inspiring attitude, which makes the book fun to read. In order to get results you need to spend a little time to practice. It is not a free lunch, but if you spend time I am quite sure you will become impressed how easy you can remember all 50 American states without hesitating. In alphabetic order. The same could be done with your anatomy or accounting curriculum.

The downside is that you need to keep practicing otherwise you will forget the memory techniques, but if you spend some time I believe the book is very useful!

I have personally used the techniques for job interviews, in Management Consulting, solving cases where you need to hold a lot of information in your head while demonstrating your analytical skills at the same time. Here the techniques proved very useful.
