Specified members of the New York City Police Department are required to maintain a record of all duty performed in Department Form U.F. 16 - Memorandum Pad.Among those are uniformed Patrolmen assigned to patrol in Precincts, Jim Lannigan, Sheldon Grossman, Mick Brennan and Pat Mulligan, friends since they were sworn into the Department as Probationary Patrolmen in September, 1954 were among those members of the department required to maintain these pads. Thirty five years later they are seated at Mick BrennanÕs kitchen table reminiscing about their careers with the aid of MickÕs Memorandum Pads.
