this software is incredibly buggy; it's crashed several times on a gateway pentium ii. also, i can't seem to get the resolution high enough to look decent on either the text or the images (supplied or my own). i recommend finding another product.

We have used the various colors of Memorex labels and have had the following results.

The Metallic lables (gold or silver) wrinkle and bubble badly no matter how carefully applied. We have wasted large numbers of CDs since they are unusable with the labels so badly wrinkled.

The color labels seem to work ok but are almost impossible to find. We cannot even find a site to get in touch with Memorex to order or discuss our issues with their products.

Stores only handle the white labels. If the CD has any printing on it, the white lables let it show through.

We are not pleased with these labels.

I am a programmer and very familiar with graphics programs, BUTI couldn't figure out how to use this program. Couldn't even open theimages that came with it. An e-mail to the company didn't even get a response. I will be buying a different company's product END

I've owned a CD-Writer for years now and to be fair to this product from Memorex , I could never exploit the true potential of the device without proper labelling on my CD's , this thing is ridiculously simple and yet very efficient in its job.

A wonderfull mix of goodies coming your way too.

I would recommend it to everyone who ownes a writer " MUST BUY ".

The mechanical device employed to transfer the labels onto the CD's is great. The problem is the software is almost impossible to use if you're not a heavey desktop publisher. I've been unable to figure out how to use the software and the online help is useless. A real disappointment.

I used the Memorex machine and I think that I produce very impresive labels for my CD's. The software is excellent. It doesn't have documentation but I think it's very intuitive. The labels are cheaper and you get 3 CD-RW and 3 CD-R for free with the package. With a little time that you invest with the software you will be making very nice labels in a few hours.

The product was very easy to use and it is way better advance than other cd label maker that i have bought. The only thing that is wrong with this label kit is that it slows my computer down and software runs very slow at times.

The software that comes with CD Labelmaker far outshines other software like neato/fellowes. The ease with which you can stretch and rotate text and images is very cool. My biggest problem is trying to find white photo glossy labels for CDs...it's a product not even listed on the Memorex website...but i have found in several stores.

Memorex continues to make the worst software for label making. Their new exPressit version 3.0 is incompatable with versions 2.2 and 2.1. In other words if you have many labels made with the other two versions, 3.0 won't open it. This is utterly stupid. When inserting text the font selection has a mind of it's own. This was true in 2.2 and 2.1 and remains the case in the new version 3.0. Quite often the font you've selected will be unavailable and the exPressit software will revert back to basic Arial and you are unable to change it.

I am an HTML designer and familiar with a wide variety of authoring and design software...and I had fits with the MEMOREX labelmaker software...just creating a text field made my computer (a pentium 3, windows 98 Dell) lock up...I hated it. I was control/alt/deleting all night... Finally, I uninstalled it and created my own templates in Freehand. This product is a waste of money and a joke. Who the heck developed this software?
