5.0 out of 5 stars Cheap CD-RW & DVD-ROM
This burner is ideal for computer users with black or silver case. Its burn speed is very fast and reliable. The software is a bit weak personally. I use Ulead for my burning needs. I bought it for the low price. An excellent choice for upgrading an older drive.

After the warranty expires the DVD/CD drive reliably fails. The tray no longer opens when closed or closes when open .. using the button or software. What options does a consumer have? Toss it in the land fill and purchase another one.

Before it failed, the drive worked as advertised .. except for speed. It took a long time to come up to speed both in read and...

This was a very easy drive to install. If I can do it, anyone can. It is easy to use, as being reasonable in price. It comes with Nero software, which is also quite simple to use. I would recommend this to any and all.

I am a photographer and needed a replacement cd burner fast. This Burner came on time and in the box with software. I had no problems replacing it and I have had no problems whatsoever with it. I am very very happy with the product and service

I have never installed a disk drive before. I bought this to replace my worn out CDRW drive. Buzzed right through the install (once I figured out exactly what I was doing). It's been 3 weeks since I installed it. Seems to be working fine. Very pleased.

**** The Intel graphics card on this hard drive is not updated. I have downloaded the update several times but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Causes occational screen freezing that can be really annoying.
