I bought each of my grandchildren one of these for Christmas. I am so happy with this product. The youngest is 4 and needless to say, it has been dropped on occasion and so far hasn't affected it in anyway. He carries it around with him all the time. The picture is great, the sound clear. It plays all the DVD's they have, even some with minor scratches, without any problem. We found some earphones that worked just fine. They live an hour from me so this provides nice entertainment for them on the ride to and from. Great buy. Highly recommend.

Had this machine for about a month. Try home made DVD, original DVD, CD etc. All played pretty well. The battery life can last 4 hours. I think it lasted 5 hours when I use headphone. No complaint so far.

EXTREMELY DISPLEASED. PRODUCT DID NOT WORK AT ALL - WOULD NOT TURN ON. THIS WAS NOT A SURPRISE AS THE PLAYER WAS VERY POORLY PACKAGED FOR SHIPPING. NO EXTERNAL BOX AT ALL - SHIPPED ONLY IN THE BOX THE ITEM CAME IN. ONE THIN PIECE OF BUBBLE WRAP. I WOULD NOT PURCHASE THIS ITME AGAIN OR BUY ANYTHING ELSE FROM THIS SELLER

I purchased this dvd player to take along in our car for the long trips to my in-laws house. On our first trip up it worked great as well as when were there. We put it in the car about an hour or so before we left to come home (it was about 40 degrees out so I figured it would be ok for an hour) so it would be all ready to go and it wouldn't work on the way home at all. The dvd wouldn't even try to spin.
I exchanged it thinking it was just a bad machine and the EXACT same thing happened to our second one. It's now been in our house for two months so is all warmed back up and does not work at all!!
If you intend to purchase this for in home use only then it really is a great little player. But if you are going to use it for travel, carry it with you everywhere so it can't get cold because once it does, it's trash!

I received the portable DVD player with in a week. After taking it out of the plastic, I notices small scratches on the top of the lid. I opened it and found even more scratches inside. I ordered a new player not a used one. It looks to me like this player was returned. I have contacted the seller four times and no response. (go figure). This was purchased as a gift. I can't give this used looking player to anyone. Just contacted Amazon to file a claim.
