Just heard this review on All Things Considered on NPR. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=100007776
There's a cool video here where you can watch them in the studio and listen to songs. Personally, I love the combination of instruments on this album. It's got a nice feel, very chill but still enough of a vibe so that it's energetic instead of sleepy. One of the few albums I listen to straight through without skipping tracks

This record has that rare balance of great players that aren't killing the music with ego. It really sounds like these guys have been crafting this music for years and years. Hard to believe this is just the 1st record they've done.

Beautiful surprise!,

This is not my type of music usually. When I first listened to this recording, I thought it was "nice". But with repeated listening, more was gently revealed until this is one of my "never get tired of listening desert island" recordings. It continues to reveal greater depths and I so much appreciate the music.
