For any nursing student...these books are well worth the money!! Sometimes they just help make things stick better!

I have used this book to study for the NCLEX. Great way to remember terms and diseases.

I used this book along with volume one for my Diabetes Exam. It has cute, fun ways to help remember important points of study. I think volume one had better pages for diabetes than this one, but it still has good information. I plan on using the books throughout the rest of nursing school.

If you have ADHD, and are a visual and auditory learn like me THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU. This book gives has pictures (wish they were colored in) that correspond to the disease and they have pnuemonics to go along with them. "Cold and clammy, give'em some candy" for hypoglycemic and then they show them shivering. I used the book after my 2nd test and when I tried to picture the disease I closed my eyes and saw a guy shivering with sweaty palms and BAM remembered the saying. Now thats just for 1 of the 100 disease processes they made pictures for but it helps. I would get this along with Mosby Pharmacology flip book, Mosby Pathophysiology as well as the Memory Notebook of Nursing vol 1 all of which have these pictures and quirky sayings on them to help you remember what is what. Ya its a lot of money but whats cheaper re-doing a semster or buying a book that lets you past the test the first time.

This book, in conjunction with the others in the series, is a great memory tool when trying to learn the various disease processes and symptoms related to them. There is something for every system and area of nursing. As a nurse educator, I enjoy distributing these after I have discussed a specific topic to reinforce the material on which I have lectured.

This book provides many very good prompts for helping to remember difficult subject matter. Plus they are fun and help to lessen the stress level and rigidity often seen in higher ed courses. I use these memory aids with my nursing students and have actually seen an improvement in their recall ability. Good Product!

I purchased this book thinking it might provide some fun "post-conference" ideas for my LVN students, but found it to be a little too brief, not enough for each subject - ie, more cutsie drawings than info and/or critical thinking to share with the students.

This is a great book for any level of nursing student! It provides a fun way to review things or learn them for the first time! It's great to learn another way than just staring for hours at a textbook! P.S. This book was highly recommended by one of my professors!

The product was shipped in a timely manner. This product was what it was described as and I should've listened to the other reviews before I purchased this product. Not helpful for LPN student. Nice pictures and descriptions, but not as descriptive enough for nursing student. So, in the end this product was not as I expected it to be. Would not recommend this product.

This was a great addition to my collection of nursing books. I've recommended this book to several of my friends and they are going to buy it ASAP..
