first off, it was ridiculously inexpensive, like $3 or so. where have you been since my laptop with the card-slot got stolen? I again no longer have to have the camera all batteried up nor find its cord to dump all of my pictures and movies.
and the clear case is awfully nifty, you can stick your card in and (watch the data transferring?) see your card inside, even -after- you hit yourself in the forehead trying to figure out why your camera's not working. and I do like to see the tiny circuit board, and what is that, a capacitor in the leetle can? aesthetically, very pleasing to me.
and the LED? man! you could wake the dead with that thing! screaming bright! like it! photons galore. I could read a book by that if it would spend more time slinging data.
finally got USB 2.0 working on my machine because of it, and enjoy excellent data transfer rates. (why didn't I do that before?) used exclusively with 4GB SDHC cards so far (that's all I've got!), with exactly zero problems. well, unless you count my so easily editing, renaming, and resaving things on the card and subsequently confounding my simple-minded camera because of it, but I just won't do that anymore. silly camera!
only complaint-no hole for a lanyard. but I suppose that's a good thing, or I'd be constantly wearing it around my neck and showing it off every chance I had and then not having time to do anything else. oh yeah, and it's hips are a little wide, if that kind of thing bothers you, it might not fit the way you need it to where you want it, but it's so damn wonderful I'd buy it an extension cord if I had that problem.
great product! if you have the need for a card reader now or might ever have even a slight one in the future, throw $3 at this. cheaper than a good pint of beer, lasts a lot longer, and doesn't make you pee.
oh, and in my mailbox in around 3 days!
