This is one Head Knocker I've wanted for a while. As soon as I found out that NECA made one of Frank, he was at the top of my list for most wanted bobbleheads. The design isn't super detailed like some of the other Head Knockers out there, but I'll be damned if it isn't just plain charming. Having this guy on the shelf along with the others adds even more diversity to my collection. Really going from the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man to Stripe to Slimer to the Hulk to...a pug in a suit? Yes, this little guy stands out despite being so basic.

Frank's made out of the same resin as all the other Head Knockers, but feels hollow. He's one of my bigger ones, but is much lighter than Stripe or Stay Puft. He looks just like he does in the stock picture, with no changes made from the prototype to the final product. Frank sits on a silver base with the MIIB logo, ready for his next task. Despite being a basic dog sculpt, they did a good job adding some details like wrinkles in the hind legs like a real dog would have when sitting down. The suit looks good, though again, it's pretty standard in terms of design. The part where this guy shines is the head sculpt. It looks like a real pug, complete with the bugged out eyes. The bobble feature on him is very good, and his head shakes all over the place, but there's some danger of chipping because the bottom of the head is very thin, and if his head moves too much and hits the neck peg, it could break some pieces off. But most people who get these will be careful.

The only con? As with all NECA products, the paint is hit or miss. My Frank has great paint on the head, but the suit is messy with black from the jacket going onto the white shirt. 'same with the tie. Luckily it wasn't too bad, but if you care about getting a really good one, check pictures before buying if you can.

Frank isn't going for very much these days, so he's a good deal at the current price. I'm happy with him.
