I bought this Bible for my brother in law and he says that its the the best one he's ever had. It's clear and concise and he loves to read the historical content. On his vote alone I say go for it!

I was given this Bible by Mel Banks Jr. and we enjoyed it so much, we received the "Women of color study Bible" also. Thank You so much for given me and my family a TRUE understanding of where we as a people come from. And knowing that there is Color in the Bible. Reading it makes this evident.
