I love Gerald Alston & The Manhattans. This is a typically strong album from the group. Please note it has all 11 songs that were on their "Even Now" CD. This has two new songs, the excellent "Shorty" (and all the unneccessary mixes) and the title track "Men Cry Too".
Remember the old adage "Don't judge a book by it's cover". A note to The Manhattans never hire the art designer again as the cover of the CD looks downright awful.

THE MANHATTANS HAVE NOTHING MORE TO PROVE,HAVING MADE SO MANY GREAT ALBUMS IN THE PAST BUT THIS ONE HAD THE POTENTIAL TO BE A MASTERPIECE.HOWEVER THE CD WAS MANUFACTURED IN THE BASEMENT OF SOMEWHERE IN THE BRONX WHAT A SHAME BECAUSE THE THE SINGING IS SO GOOD AND THE PRODUCTION IS WONDERFUL BUT AS AN AUDIOPHILE THE SOUND QUALITY IS CAUSING MY STATE OF THE ART MUSIC SYSTEM TO REVOLT...MAYBE IS JUST ME BUT GOING CHEAP IS NOT ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA..HOWEVER I WILL STILL RECOMMEND.
