I can see why no one is offering #3 "HER BABY, HIS SECRET" as a separate novel.

It is the culmination of the trilogy and a great story and a possible lead in into the "Phoenix Brotherhood".

CIA agent Griff Cabot is supposed to be dead.
The love of his life and "lover", Claire Heywood, introduced in the first story "THE BRIDE'S PROTECTOR" - Hawk's story - we find out is the mother of Griff's daughter, Gardner.

The problem is that someone has kidnapped little Gardner and Griff is drawn out of his lair and brought together with Hawk and Jordan and Jake Holt for some intrigue.

It starts out with hard feelings on both sides because Claire did not tell Griff about being pregnant and she can not forgive his allowing the CIA telling her that he was dead.

It turns out that Claire is the only one of the three women that I can't stand. She is a moralistic prud where Griff's job is concerned but not with her own sexual immorality.

It is brought home to her that there are really evil people in their world who have no concerns for others. Money and power are the ruling factor.
I have really enjoyed the 3 men, whose stories make up the "Men of Mystery" [now there is another 3 books to go - More Men of Mystery]. Then the "Phoenix Brotherhood".
This reprint should be really great but I am fortunate to have the originals. What a collection.
Well that takes care of Jake Holt's story.
Read this trilogy you will really want to keep it.
