Sandra P. Aldrich, president and CEO of Bold Words, Inc., in Colorado Springs, is a popular speaker, author or coauthor of 16 books, and contributing author to an additional dozen. She also has two Angel Awards. She has a Master of Arts in literature and communications, but says it is her "PhD in the School of Hard Knocks" that has made her a much-in-demand guest on hundreds of TV and radio programs.

Those programs include repeated appearances on "Focus on the Family," "The 700 Club," "Prime Time America," "Concerned Women for America," "Family Life Communications," "100 Huntley Street," "Lutheran Hour Ministries," "For Faith and Family," and "His Place" (aka: "The Diner Show").

In addition to radio and TV appearances, she is a popular speaker throughout the United States and in Canada, Germany, and England. Her events range from Women of Virtue conferences, women's and couple's retreats, military bases, college conferences, hospice seminars, single-parent events, business meetings, and educational workshops. Always, she presents the serious issues of life with insight and humor.

Her 500-plus articles have appeared in "Chicken Soup for the Christian Woman's Soul," "Writer's Digest," "Moody Magazine," "Today's Christian Woman," and "Discipleship Journal," among others.

She is also the former senior editor of "Focus on the Family" magazine.

I've read a lot of marriage books and this is the one I recommend to my newly engaged/wed friends. This one is a MUST read. Well written with many applicable life stories.

This is so easy to read and so well written. It's a fast book but so helpful. It's full of all kinds of anecdotes...my husband even found it easy and helpful. Yes, there is stuff in there for men also.
