Editorial Reviews

Get your daily dose of menspiration in this laugh-out-loud comedy series created by writer and actor Breckin Meyer (Road Trip, TV's "Franklin & Bash"). Irreverent and outrageously funny, MEN AT WORK: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON follows the misadventures of Milo (Danny Masterson, TV's "That '70s Show"), Neal (Adam Busch, TV's "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"), Tyler (Michael Cassidy, Argo) and Gibbs (James Lesure, TV's "Las Vegas"), four sex-obsessed employees at a Manhattan-based men's magazine who have each other's backs as they mate, date and relate to women.

Funny, smart, edgy comedy.

In fact, I'm pleasantly surprised females are portrayed in a positive light.

I was surprised by what a little gem TBS has in the new sitcom "Men at Work". The actors are great, and the dialogue and story lines made me laugh out loud. It's just a fun show.

Yes it has its crude moments, but the writing is funny while all of the characters are likeable. Two of them are happily single, one is in a relationship and the other is looking. I may even purchase so I can watch on my roku.

This show is refreshing, fun and unique. Not only it's entertaining, but it also has a heart. Most of the negative reviews are made by those who never watched beyond the first 2 episodes or the misleading promos. The four guys are really tight as a group. Each one has his own style and personality. Milo is charming, Gibbs is magnetic, Tyler is classy and Neal is adorable. No, it's NOT all about sex. In fact, I'm pleasantly surprised females are portrayed in a positive light. Through the mistakes they make in their dating lives, the guys learn the best ways to deal with women. Also, expect lots of bromance, as the main focus of the show is the friendship among the guys.

I couldn't be more impressed with all the lead actors.
Danny Masterson does an awesome job as the likable, funny Milo. He's basically the Carrie Bradshaw of the group and the mediator who always brings his buddies back together whenever they argue. I noticed a majority of the show's followers are Masterson fans from "That 70's Show". In here, he succeeded in bringing Milo's character to life, just like what he did to the iconic Hyde.

James Lesure has a lot of hilarious moments as Gibbs the womanizer. Gibbs is always out for a good time and a natural in chatting up all the ladies, so the smooth, playful vibe he brings to the character is enjoyable to see. Without his outgoing persona, the show would probably be boring, as he puts all the energy and fun into his work. Fans who have seen Lesure in "Las Vegas" will love him here.

Michael Cassidy is my #1 fave TV actor. Very underrated yet versatile, he can take on any genre.

Ok. I began watching as soon as it came out, simply because it seemed interesting. As I got more into the show I found it hilarious and it proved to be something I will always enjoy. I recommend this show to everyone, if you are truly skeptical then just watch one episode. That should help you judge this show, I am positive that you will enjoy this as much as I do!

Buddy comedy. Cute show. Really got into it. Was trying to wait for Season 2 to come out on DVD so I could get it through Netflix for free. After a couple weeks, I grew impatient and purchased S2 through Amazon as well...then plowed through that season in a couple nights. Just an all-around good buddy comedy.
