Michelle Cohen is a professional producer, writer, director, actress, and singer. As an on-camera spokesperson, Michelle and her varied projects have been featured on CNN, Good Morning America, MTV, NPR's "All Things Considered", People Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, Maxim, FHM, the Chicago Tribune and the Washington Post. She produced the Off-Broadway musical hit "Schoolhouse Rock Live!" (an adaptation of the ABC Emmy Award-winning cartoon). She is the co-author of "MenOpop, a Menopause Pop-up and Activity Book" and the sole author of "Of Course You Can Sing!". She has directed numerous musicals, dramas and comedies, including the one-woman show, "Toasted", which won the "Best of the Fringe" award in San Francisco. She has taught singing privately and served as an adjunct member of faculty at several acting schools, including NYU. She has performed as a professional actress and singer since childhood. She trained extensively, here and abroad (graduating from Sarah Lawrence College and studying at the British American Drama Academy). As a filmmaker, Michelle has two features in the works: "The Girl Behind Hollywood", a biopic on Mary Pickford and "Beyond Belief", a romantic comedy/action film based on the short film she wrote and directed.
