After using the usual drug store brands like Neutrogena and Clean & Clear for a while, I decided to try MenScience and see if the higher price really meant a superior product. I purchased this kit along with the face mask and face tonic, and after using them for about two weeks, I find that my skin is smoother and my pores appear smaller. I use the cleanser and moisturizer every day, but I only use the scrub every other day, since many sources suggest that exfoliating too much is bad for the skin. The included brush feels very nice when used with the cleanser. I also like that these products don't have a strong smell. So far I am pleased with my purchase.

I tried this product after much research. The product itself has all of the right ingredients in it. I mean from a technical standpoint, you really can't do much better than this. However, this product has caused me to break out on 3 separate occasions (not consecutive days).

I have never had a problem with breakouts...ever. In my 29 years, my skin has always been clear with maybe one occasional pimple every month or so. Well, I can tell you that from my experience, every time I used this product, without fail it would cause a breakout within 8 hours.

So I decided to try it 2 more times just to be sure. And, sure enough...the same results. I will not be purchasing anything from menscience again. Oh, and I talked to my dermatologist and he said, "you can find products at your local drugstore that will work better and be a fraction of the price. remember that all of these "beauty" products are all about marketing and packaging. expensive DOES NOT mean better." Oh, the one good thing about menscience is they will refund your money if you are unhappy. Good customer service, bad product.

these products are the best, free of fragrances, dyes, menthol, peppermint and other irritating ingredients. the other reviewers probably got breakouts and sunburn w/the face scrub. the back of the package clearly indicates that you need to use sun screen for a few days after exfoliating; however, it's worth it since the results are great.

I have bought this kit a a gift many times and has never let me down. My husband uses the brand and the quality of products is really good. The kit is the ideal gift for end of school year for my kid's coach, co-workers gift exchange and boss' birhtday. It makes an original gift of a high end product. They all end up switching to Menscience after trying the products in the kit.

I bought this for my dad for his birthday, and at first I thought it was a total mistake. My dad is pretty traditional with his grooming, and not exactly overjoyed to try new things. But after some guilt on my part, he finally used the products. And now? He had to order a new kit last week because he used all the products up! So good, I'm thinking of getting it for my grandfather, too.

I started using this products after looking up the internet for a good set of men's face products. I used it for a month initially without much problems apart from the occasional stinging sensation after applying the lotion. It contains alpha hydroxy acids which make make skin sensitive to sun exposure.

Then recently i developed severe dermatitis/ eczema on my face. I have always had a good and clear complexion but now its all red and angry looking and my face is rough like sandpaper. I attribute this to the skin products as i have never had problems with my skin before.
