I have listened to these string symphonies over and over again - simply beautiful! The recordings are excellent. I have the symphonies by Roy Goodman(as part of an anthology of Mendelsshon's music) at less than six dollars for each disc, it's a bargain - you will not be sorry you spent the money.
Every time I play these cds I just enter symphonic bliss. The playing is spot on. Again, this recording is an absolute winner!
