This review is from: Mendelssohn: Violin Concerto in E Minor, Op. 64 / Vieuxtemps: Concerto No. 5 in A Minor, Op. 37 (Audio CD)
Oh to be a well-known orchestral conductor these days. With at least a half-dozen exceptionally talented violin soloists that just happen to be beautiful young ladies as well, okay, I'm jealous. Chee Yun certainly takes no back seat to Sarah Chang, Midori, or any other of the current crop of gifted soloists, Asian or not. Something about Mendelssohn and a woman's touch. It's mezmerizing.
