EPIC,
By Dale "A fan of music" (North shore, Hawaii) - See all my reviews

From start to finish, this album is one of the greatest albums I've ever heard. I think it's fantastic. It starts on a more upbeat note with "Black Lung" and ends on a more mellow accoustic out with "Who will Give Us Love." The album is thier much anticipated first full release since "The City Turns Everything Electric." If you only buy one album this year it should be this album. Epic music that won't leave your head, and should be listened to from begining to end. Phenomenal! If you're a fan of jeff buckley, coldplay, accoustic, indie, or just a fan of good music.. then by all means, pick this album up.

This is the best album i've heard in a really really long time. Its one of those albums where you can't skip a song because its just overall amazing. It's the best cruising music, when you're driving at night and just want to be at peace.

This is one of the best albums I've heard in several years. It is such a natural, well-rounded sound that is broad enough to cross genres but unique enough that I can't think of anyone else who sounds like them. Over and over I have been impressed by this group of guys, and this is just another perfect example of why they belong in the national lime-light.Highlights of the album for me were Man Down, Mirrors, This Is My Home, and Who Will Give Us Love. The writing does such an amazing job of communicating a concept and a message instead of just the words being a tool that the band can wrap the music around. This is one of the most well rounded group of musicians I've heard, and they are certainly a testimony to knowing when to play and when to let space play a role in their music. I love this band, and I love this album. I can't wait till they are a national name and I can say that I saw them at a tiny little venue in Dallas, TX before anyone else knew their name!
