Can't beat the price and it does the job. Simple 3 turns of the screw puts it on or takes it off. DOES NOT ATTACH DIRECTLY TO A 43mm camera without a filter on it, so maybe pick up a UV, Clear, or ND. This hood attached to my filter on the Canon HV30, not the actual camera.
