This is a very simple to use stand that can be put into several positions. It collapses into such a small profile that I can easily carry it around. This video should clear up any questions about how to use it.

This is a convenient, foldable stand that I use both in landscape and in portrait views. I do enjoy the fact I can put this stand on my kitchen counter to do some light web surfing even while my iPad is charging. Away from home I often do typing using Apple's wireless bluetooth keyboard keeping my iPad in portrait view. This gives me plenty of screen real estate because the virtual keyboard does not appear on the screen when I'm using the wireless keyboard.

Perhaps not a stand that you would use in bed or lying on the couch but its great at a desk, kitchen counter, study area or table anywhere. One last comment is that this stand has a wide enough seat to accommodate your iPad even with a protective sleeve around it.

I just received mine and it is very sturdy. I wanted to take it on a trip without adding weight, and it is perfect. I have the apple case and it works with the case on.
