I've worn this model of Asics running shoe since it was the 2080. I thought it couldn't get better and then there was the 2090, the 2100, and now the 2110. It's a great all around shoe that provides good support. I wore this shoe for the last half-dozen marathons that I've ran and it has never let me down. It's a reasonable weight, and is comfortable out of the box, especially for people with high arches. My only complaint is that they may wear out a little too quickly on the inside of the shoe near the ball of the foot.

I personally find that I get best results out of these shoes by using two pairs and alternating them. The padding tends to re-expand by doing this.

I am what most runners call a Clydesdale, tipping the scales north of 230 pounds. As a result my feet and joints take a real pounding (no pun intended). I run on tar (no concrete), wooded paths (dirt), and occaisionally a treadmill, and I have found that these shoes are ideal for me. I have mixed wearing Asics GT-2000 series shoes with various Nike, New Balance, saucony, reebok, and other stability oriented trainers for more than 20 years, and the GT-2000 series in unsurpassed in my view. While I have a tendency towards plantars fascitis, I have never experienced any bouts while wearing the Asics shoes. I also prefer the firmer feel of the Asics to some of the Nike Air shoes I have used in the past.

as you can see, I am sold on these shoes. But make sure you try a pair on before you order them; I believe the reason they are so good for me is that they fit my feet well (I have a wide forefoot and narrow heels). They may not work for you. if not, I would suggest you try some new balance, as they come in various widths, and to me have a similar "feel" to these. Good luck

I am a 55 year old man and I run 4 to 5 miles daily. I find that when my running shoes begin to break down, I have difficulty walking when getting out of bed in the morning. Last year I tried a pair of Asic GT 2110s and the stiffness I usually felt disappeared within a couple of weeks. I wore them for about 6 months before replacing them. Might have been a little too long as the stiffness started back. However, I have experienced the same pleasant result with the new pair just purchased. I have been running off and on for 20 years. These are the best shoes I have ever run in.

Great shoe for my milage. I recently had my "step" analyzed by computer to make sure I was using the correct shoe as I prepared for a half marathon. I wanted two things: Comfort and Stability (to protect my ankles). I tried out at least 7 different shoes. The Asics GT-2110 felt the most natural in terms of the amount of "give" it had during each step. Many others had more cushion but they felt too stiff as I launched off my toes. Previously I'd run in the 2100 shoe and (just for the record) I was very willing change brands. In fact, I was willing to spend a lot more money to protect my knees and ankles. Turns out it wasn't necessary.

I'm running 5-11 miles per day, both on a tred mill and the road and in both conditions I'm pleased with the shoe. I have gotten a blister in the same place with both the 2100 and 2110 (just forward of my right arch), so I'm guessing it's my foot, not the shoe. The 2100 was giving me blisters on my toes, but after going up one size when I bought the 2110's, that was resolved.

After a recent bad sprain (don't run in the dark!) I've been using a bulky ankle brace. Even with the brace, the shoe has been very accomodating.

I've run in wet conditions a few times and they haven't gotten too soggy, but I've yet to find a shoe that feels "great" in the rain.

A little heavier than I am used to and anticipated, hard to maintain high mileage in these shoes.However, they're great walking shoes and are very comfortable.

I'm starting my fourth pair of this shoe. I've been running for just over three years and have run over 3900 miles in that time, including four marathons. (Plenty of higher-mileage runners out there, please value my opinion accordingly.)

I previously wore the Asics gel 1120 and prefer it over this shoe. The 1120 was better looking and more comfortable. There's nothing wrong with this shoe, however.

I have two pairs of the GT 2110 that have about 400 miles on them, and a new pair with only 8 miles of wear. There is a big difference in the level of support/cushion. This shoe doesn't seem to age as well as the gel 1120. Still, I've ran roughly 1300 miles in GT 2110s and can attest to their quality.

If you have "normal" feet (do a foot test online), don't waste your money on hundred-dollar shoes, buy these.

Before I purchased this shoe I wore the Nike Pegasus and they too were good running shoes, but the GT-2110s are built better. The cushioning in the heel and the spacious toe box make them very comfortable. I'm 6'2 / 185 and generally run between 20 - 24 mpw.

Asics have been a pretty good shoe for a while now. I haven't had any for about 15 years. As my old shoes were wearing out I began shopping online and decided to give these a try... glad I did.
I'm on my feet all day so I need something comfortable and durable. These foot the bill. Price is right. Fit is true to size. Definitely recommend and will purchase again.

I've had a number of Asics Gel GT series shoes and I think they're great. They were great when I was running over 1200 miles a year and they're great now that I no longer run. A pair would last me 1,000 miles of running and then I would retire them to other uses. I highly recommend them.
