when it's cheap, it's great, January 11, 2010
i didn't buy these here, but from a different site. i actually got them for $19 on a huge sale. i should have bought more. i've been playing basketball for 16 years and throughout grade school, social status was very important (i hate to admit it). i always spend at least $100 on jordan shoes, kobe shoes, jumpman shoes, BIG DOLLAR SHOES, but they never last very long. one day i saw these on sale. they look great--granted i got the black trims, not this baby blue color. anyways, what i got for $20 was like getting jordan shoes for $150. from then, i was hooked. never will i throw big dollars down the drain for a pair of $150 jordan shoes when i could pretty much have 7 of these! i played in these every other day, so the cushion went out fast. after 3 months, i couldn't wear them anymore because they had no more cushion--but that's just me. i love ballin' everyone up.
unlike other AND1 shoes, these offer great cushion and ankle protection. there's enough cushion--DENSE cushion-- to protect your ankles from the gnarliest of ball handling moves. in my 16 years of basketball, i've sprained my ankles 17 times. i have yet to sprain them in these. and even though it ran out of cushion in 3 months, there was still enough cushion to protect my ankles after 1 year.
i love these!
