The leather is very thick and the jacket is made in Pakistan. Its perfect thick leather for riding, keeps the cold wind out and protects from road rash. The zipper is thick too so it zips up a bit rough, yet its a great deal for the price. Also the pockets have zippers and there is one inside pocket for a wallet, yet the inside pocket has no zipper. The inside liner is not very insulated and the stitching is a thinner thread, but it will certainly hold up. Overall its actually a nice jacket that you could expect to pay twice the price for. This was a great deal ($80) for final price of shipping. This jacket should last a life time of riding and great protection from the elements and road. I'm very happy with it.

Awesome Jacket! Exactly as described. It's a little short in the front, but I'm pretty tall and big...So I maybe should have gotten and XXL instead of just XL. But other than that it fits me great and I love it!

Mine is very nice. I got it quick from Amazon. I grabbed it as soon as I saw the price and from the picture knew what I was getting in for.

This is a very well made jacket. A lot of hard work and management went into it's construction and the material is unsurpassed. My boss told me to take it off... " you don't ride!" he said and I told him I rent and intend to when I get my MC5... motorcycle licence 5th degree.... I tried to tell him I was getting ready for next spring by having all the stuff I need to ride safely before I end up running around in circles at the last minute next year... but my jacket passed the test as far as looking the part as far as I'm concerned.. he thought it was a motorcycle jacket.

I haven't been on the road with it and I hope to have more positive review next year after my expedition at the DMV.

It's a relief to read Police Motorcycle Jacket in some places concerning this jacket as it does have the look and feel of the stuff we dress our finest in. I wore it to the store to see if it would draw unfavourable attention and nobody said boo... so as far as a clutz such as me goes it should do the job for my first year on bikes.

After putting it on and rechecking the price I paid I think I will wear this jacket on the bike. My other regular leather jackets just don't give me any piece of mind for when the inevitable happens and I bruise easily.

The design seems to me to be for somebody that cares about what happens to them in a spill. The fit I got is perfect.... and I'm fat with the scales going down all the time. The Amazon on this item has a nifty size chart for customers that may not have a lot of experience buying expensive leather motorcycle jackets for themselves and once again I am delighted with the fit.

There is no awful smell. I have put it on on several occaisions as I got more stuff for riding next year from Amazon. It doesn't smell but there is no mistaking it's made of leather.

I wish I could wear two.

I got this jacket for $54 or so, and wasn't expecting a whole lot in the way of high-end quality, to be honest. I was very wrong -- this is the same jacket you will find in high-end leather/biker shops for $200 or more. The quality is GREAT. Solid, thick leather, good zippers, good construction, and very heavy (I believe the jacket, by itself, is about seven pounds). What you see in the picture is exactly what you get. This is, by far, one of the best deals I've ever found on Amazon, so if you're looking for a leather jacket, look no further.

After reading some of the previous reviews of this jacket I was worried I was going to get something different than what I see in the picture. I am thankful the jacket I received looks exactly like the picture.

It is a cool looking heavy-duty leather "biker" jacket. There is nothing funky about how the leather looks, feels, or even smells. The color is black. It is a gift for my stepson so he will be the final critic, but I tried it on and I wouldn't mind getting one for myself!

This price cannot be beat.

The jacket was nice, but sizing is tricky. I had to return the jacket because it was way too big. I decided to buy one locally so my husband can try it on for a better fit.

This is really a nice jacket for the price... $52... No Tax... Free shipping... A medium weight leather with a heft... All the zippers work... Stitching is right on, no sloppy seams... I'm 6'2'' at 240... Got the XXL, fit's great... Not tight, not loose... I've been riding motorcycles since the 1980's, this is a great everyday jacket... On cold days, a thin down vest under the jacket and you're good to go... Very happy with purchase!

When it comes to style this jacket is really bad. It is only good for being on a motorcycle, but not for wearing for fun. Ridiculously huge arms, very stiff. I would actually rather have an more expensive jacket that has a way better feel. Very bulky and heavy!
