Have owned a pair for nearly a year and have really abused it. I'm on my feet at work with little sit time. It's a very hard, sturdy pair of shoes. It was decently comfortable initially, but not as comfortable currently. I've used the Dr. Scholl's gel insoles since it arrived. The bottom is worn from all the walking and now isn't as slip resistant. Still, a very tough pair of shoes and the steel toe has been good to me.

For a steel toe working shoe, it is a very well finnished, solid and confortable one. I hope it last a long time.

This shoes is very hard and confortable at same time, if you want shoes for years, buy its.

Do you need steel toe in a work boot that isn't hot to wear but with great tread gripping strength?

Lots of other imitators, but just like the machinery...there is only one Cat, and they're the best. To bad this is my first pair and it took me so long to find this out. Don't make the mistake I did skipping over these.
And now on Nov 1st...I've had these shoes "on the go in a boiler room" 40 hours a week since the review and the sole is still in perfect shape...definitely the longest I've ever had a sole hold up
