Wonderful 2 piece outfit with great movement range, very cool in hot weather. Side pockets in the shirt are a nice add-on.

The product was delivered in a very timely manner. I think I ordered it on a Saturday and had it by Wednesday. It was exactley what we wanted. The pants looked big at first, but the drawstring tightened them up very quickly. There was even a hand-written thank you card which I felt was a very nice personal touch. Overall I was very satisfied!!!

I had ordered the wrong size. I put in a request and received a reply with-in 3 hours. I sent my correct size and received the product long before expected. Extremely courteous and prompt. Highly recommended.

I use m Kurta for video of Spiritual Awareness. Very comfortable and breathes easily for a comfortable meditation.

This is my second review of this product, as the first review was never published.

I wrote a review of the product in order to balance the other, bogus drooling reviews. (e.g. people were gushing about receiving a cheap "thank you" card!)

In contrast, my review was honest.

All of my other reviews for books and CDs have been published, but my previous review for this product remains unpublished.

Why?

Is Amazon trying to protect its 3rd Party Vendors for some reason?

To summarize my previous review:

1. The shipping was late.

2. The Kurta is cheaply made out of very thin material (looks like a cheap white bedsheet). You need to wear white underwear because it is virtually see-through it is so thin. I don't expect it to last long.

I originally gave this 3 stars, since I can use it. I only bought it to have something loose to wear at home for Sitar practice. I don't plan to wear it in public so don't have to worry about the "see through" aspect. And it should not get too rough wear, although I still expect it wont last long.

However, I have reduced the rating to 2 stars, since Amazon refused to publish my first review.

UPDATE:
I just washed this for the first time. I used "gentle" cycles. When I took it out I discovered the cheap string used as a belt had frayed. I suspect it will not last long and I will need to replace it with something much stronger.

Amazingly, I just saw that they INCREASED THE PRICE by $20. It wasn't worth the ~$50 I paid for it. I can't believe they are now trying to sell it for over $70. As I said, this is very cheap thin cotton.

And if you do a search for other kurtas by the same company, you will find a number that are over $100.

As I mentioned in my first review (that Amazon would not publish), labor and material in India are very cheap. I have had many Indian friends tell me you can get a high quality custom tailored kurta for the equivalent of only a few dollars.

Do NOT purchase this product!

UPDATE
After owning this product for a bit more than two months, I am seeing that it is already starting to fall apart. As I mentioned, I only use this for playing sitar... meaning I only sit still in it. I do not wear it for any exercise or stretching, or even for casual wear around the house. I also only wash it using the gentle cycles.

However, I just noticed that the threads in one of the sleeve seams are unraveling. I suspect the sleeve won't stay on much longer without repairing the thread.

I added this note in order to warn anyone planning on purchasing this Kurta set for Yoga or Tai Chi that they will likely have a lot more problems than I have had, given I don't put any kind of strain whatsoever on it.

When I was ironing the kurta I just noticed a hole in the back... the kurta is literally falling apart in only a few months of wearing it while playing a sitar!!!! I suspect my back is against the wall when I play. But there is no way in heck this should be wearing holes in it in just a few months of extremely light use.

This is the worst made garment I have ever worn!

I notice that they have dropped the price back down to what I paid. I guess they just increased the price for awhile so that they could pretend it was on sale.

AMAZING HOW THEY KEEP CHANGING THE PRICE ON THIS THING. NOW ITS BACK UP TO NEARLY $70. The price seems to bounce back and forth between $48 and $80.

I ordered the Men's Yoga PJs for my son as a gift for his 21st birthday, which was Dec. 24. He didn't tell me what he wanted until Dec. 20. I was afraid his gift would not arrive in time. It made it with time to spare, even during the Christmas rush. Great quality, perfect fit, package included a hand written thank you from the vendor. It was my first order using my computer.
