This is an old book, most illustrations are from the late 80's. Several different types of media are used and very good step by step instructions with good color pictures.

I found the information helpful. There were good step by step drawings of the man's face.

The overall bodies were very boxy and seemed short by todays standards. The thick waist and broad shoulders of most basic sketches could be slimmed down.

I wish Mr. Kumagai would do a new book, then it would be the best on the market.

I reviewed this book, thinking it was the other book I bought on the subject. I can't change my star rating in the edit. I would give this book 3 stars not 1.
