I used this for the second time and I have say that it gave me the best shave I've ever had. I didn't use the power button because just too much to expose myself to more electromagnetic fields.

If you run across this give it a try. Also recommend using a gel shaving cream, because the first time I used it I used a cream and nicked myself many times.

OK, let's do the pros/cons to make this easier.

Pros -

1) Does it work? Yes it works (so do all other razors).
2) The vibrating head makes it feel like an electric razor if that's what you want.

Cons -

1) It's more expensive (as are blades) than previous Gillette razors with no improvement in the end result. As an example, the Gillette Mach 3 works just as well, if not better, for less money.

2) The power, or "fusion" feature slows down your shaving experience. If you've been shaving for a few years, you know your face and can quickly cut through the hair. This vibrating gimmick will force you to slow down significantly. It just doesn't cut as quickly (or any better) when it's on.

3) From a resource usage perspective, this is a shameless disgrace. Gillette found a way to add more useless blades, lots of extra plastic, and now they can waste a battery too (Gillette owns Duracell)! This is what's called a product "tie in" and Gillette's way to make people spend more money and waste more resources.

This is a sad marketing gimmick folks. Think for a minute about what you need before buying this; most of us need a razor that will provide a smooth and close shave easily. Gillette may get Tiger Woods to shill this product, but that doesn't make it a better product. Also, when you think about the resources consumed to use this thing, in many ways this product becomes untenable. You can start doing something for everyone by refusing to purchase wasteful products, and this is a poster child for waste. I hope my purchasing mistake can be helpful to any wondering about this unwarranted product.
