If you're a man or care about a man, you really should subscribe. First what it is not: It's not how to get great abs in 6 days or how to cure diabetes with exotic fruit juice or any of the other over simplified or just plain junk medicine you'll find in magazines and infomercials. This is really solid information based on reliable medical studies and 'best practice' medicine. A recent issue covers treatment of pre-diabetes, prostate cancer treatment, and alcohol interactions with common medicines, among other topics. Hypertension, cardiovascular conditions, and
orthopedic conditions are covered regularly. This will help you know when you need to see a doctor, and what you need to discuss with him. If you/your guy has chronic conditions or is at the age where health starts to be a concern, get this! By the way, there is NO advertising at all. This is put out by the very reliable Cleveland Clinic, not by some publisher as a moneymaker. |
