Simple, easy to follow guide to getting in the gym,

This review is from: Men's Health Best The 15 Best Exercises (Paperback)
I grew up playing all sorts of sports, but never really spent any time in the gym to do weight training. Last year (2007) I decided to get in shape and wanted to train with free-weights without having to pay the high cost of a personal trainer. This book helped me establish an effective routine. It has suggested workouts based on what your goals are along with pictures of how to work out muscle groups with different types of free-weight exercises. It's not very big, which was good for me because I never felt overwhelmed with information.
If you're a novice in the gym and want to move beyond the weight machines you'll love this book.

I expected a lot more from Men's Health than this, but I for the price it was okay.
