These shoes are the bomb. Have been in water up to 2 inches and my feet stayed perfectly dry. I shopped for more than two weeks to find just the right shoes and I'm glad I was patient. I have no complaints about these shoes. I went with a 1/2 size bigger than my normal shoe size as other reviews suggested and the fit is great.

these shoes are great, I ordered my size and they fit perfect, I wear a 10.5 in dress shoes and 11 in gym shoes, I ordered a 10.5 and they fit perfect. they are warm and stay dry, we just got a few inches of snow and ice and walking around I feel like I'm wearing work boots

The shoes, as indicated by others, is a size smaller and narrower. There is no cushion under the heel, so after few hours you'd feel like you walked over rocks. Although these are not made for serious hiking, the shoes slip badly on wet surfaces (wet rocks, tree trunks). So do not leave the easy trail with these on. The gore-tex does provide protection from water.

These were great for the first few months, I had no issues. But when I washed the dust and muck from being in the middle east, they shrunk down two sizes. This has never happened to any Merrells I had in the past. Not worth the $130 I paid. Maybe sixty.

I usually were a size 8 but when I recieved them they were too small. I would say that they run about one half size to small. I returned them but now they don't have the 8.5 in the same color. Still looking for an alternative.

I have been wearing Merrells for years now, size 8.5. The new Merrells that I ordered were way too small I had to return them for a size 9 and even those were a little tight. Had to bring the right shoe to a shoemaker to stretch it out. This also happened with a Merrell water shoe, the Merrell Eddy. The 8.5 was way too small had to return for a 9.0. I'm not please because of the return charges. Merrell has changed there size in manufacturing.

These shoes are really light and very comfortable. Took a couple of walks to break in.

Not sure why their data base can't reflect an accurate in stock accounting. But, don't buy from them to save $5 their stock is not adequate to fulfill your order.
