The elixir 4 hasn't changed much from the 3 but it still out-performs other light-weight stability running shoes I've used. At one time I was a die-hard Asics DS Trainer fan, but no more. The elixir is much lighter with more toe-box room and just as much cushioning. Every time I run in these I feel as if I'm cheating.

You cannot get a better running shoe than Mizuno. Extremely light weight, mesh top, excellent support, hell they even look nice. My feet normally get quite sweaty wearing any type of shoe. These shoes are the only pair I can wear a full day and actually have my feet breathe and keep my socks dry at the end of the day.
