I have looked at watches for weeks trying to find the perfect watch for me and this watch made the final cut! I had looked at all the ironman watches, the garmin watches and most other top brands. I needed a watch with a loud and adjustable interval timer, one with a big chronograph numbers and comfortable fit. This watch had all of those qualities. The only down side is no heart rate monitor, but honestly I don't care. I train as hard as I can and don't worry about the HR factor.

My Nike sports watch died (and fell apart at the same time) after two years of hard use. I figured I'd just order the same watch, but apparently Nike has discontinued their watch line? So, I began the search for a new sports watch and was quite suprised to find a lousy selection in the sports watch marketplace. I wanted a reasonably priced, simple feature set in a good looking sports watch that reliably works on 100 mile bike rides, 5-20 mile runs and out to a casual dinners. There seem to be multiple problems I found: too expensive, poor reviews, ugly, too geeky...many just not right. Then, I found the Soleus line and was skeptical (I had never heard of them), but out of desperation, I decided to give Soleus a try. I received the watch today...YES!!! Looks great (much better than the photos), easy to use, LARGE and clear display and very comfortable to wear. I like it so much, I might order another. Lastly, I hope it holds up reasonably well (1-2 years), but so far...Soleus = winner!

My husband has been wearing it on several hikes and loves how it fits. I'm thinking of getting the same version for women for myself. A very good sport watch!
