This is one of those books you cannot stop reading! It's a perfect mix of adventure and romance, with lots of actual(!) information on Tibet, its culture and political status. The author is very gifted in his ability to describe the scenery, so much that I felt I was on a mental acid trip as I visualized Tibet in my head while reading this book. The plot never gets boring, and provokes your curiosity to read one more chapter before finally going to bed at 2 o'clock in the morning on a weekday! The romance between the two main characters does not take away from the adventure in any way, in fact, adds a lot of spice to it. I felt as if I were there living the story with them. Great read, I highly reccomend this book!
