5.0 out of 5 stars Great DSM Reference
Very informative reference that cuts down on the time it takes to absorb the info in the DSM.

versus
3.0 out of 5 stars Ehhh - not what I was looking for . . .
Perhaps I should have spent more time checking it out first - but it's more wordy and explanatory then what I was hoping for . . .

They say not judge a book by it's cover and this is a perfect example. I was looking for more graphs, colors, big (workbook size) and it's not. It's small pages with small graphs.

Doubt I will use it at all.

This review is from: The Mental Health Diagnostic Desk Reference: Visual Guides and More for Learning to Use the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM-IV-TR) (Paperback)
A very helpful guide to understand the DSM-IV content, with quicker ease. I borrowed the book from the library and will be purchasing my own copy.

5.0 out of 5 stars okay but not essential, October 16, 2008
This review is from: The Mental Health Diagnostic Desk Reference: Visual Guides and More for Learning to Use the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM-IV-TR) (Paperback)
The book is easy to read and understand. I bought it as a class requirement to support reading assignments from the DSM. It isn't really necessary to have it though.
