Editorial Reviews

Review

"MENu Dating is great and inspiring--it's refreshing to have a dating book that concentrates on what women should do for themselves as much as what they should do for men." - Joanna Goddard, Glamour

"MENu Dating is a must-read for singles. It’s a wonderful reminder that the road to happily ever after can be an adventure -- especially when you’re willing to step outside of your comfort zone and do some taste testing along the way." - Melissa Braverman, Examiner

"For those of you who are looking for a relationship (guys, this means you, too), I think this is a great idea! Look at life—and dating—as one big buffet," Amy Spencer, Author of Meeting your Half Orange

I'm a shy girl, but after reading this book I felt motivated to get off my butt and get out there and not wait around for prince charming to show up at my door. I'm actually excited to get out there and try a new strategy and outlook on dating! You never know... :)

I think this book is not only great for the 20-something year old woman exploring to find her soul mate but it's also GREAT for people that have been in long term relationships and missed out on their twenties dating... it gives you the guidelines of how to get out there and navigate in the very competitive dating world! The new Courtney Cox show, Cougartown, has been addressing what i am referring to above. She is 40. Divorced. With a teen son. And she is playing the field and having fun now that she is single again! However, getting back in the game is not easy when you have not played for a long time... that's why this book is a fun read and it gives us "cougars" ideas on how to get back on the field and have FUN while "tasting" all the MEN in the Menu! ;-)

Being a single 25 year old girl in the city, I would say this book gives a very accurate description on what it's like to date. Tristan not only delivers wonderful advice, but she does it in such a humorous way, that you don't want to put the book down. It allows you to embrace your feminine side -- if you want to jump on a guy, go for it and have no regrets! Unlike other dating books, it gives a modern perspective on "the rules" (a girl can and should call a guy!). I am buying this book for all of my single friends!

Great book for encouraging a healthy and open-minded viewpoint on dating. Coopersmith offers actionable suggestions and shares great anecdotes. I'm going out tomorrow to say hi to at least two random men!

Format: Paperback
A fun and frisky new dating guide book that urges young women to not look for the "one" or be pressured into finding a boyfriend. Instead the book urges women to enjoy themselves and date as often and as many men are possible. The book endorses the belief that there are no bad dates but are merely life experiences that help you figure out exactly who you are and what you want. A refreshing change after being assured for years that what you really want is a boyfriend or to get married and what you really need to do is attract a man. The writer's style is fun and youthful and the personal stories really encourage the readers to take the menudating mantra to heart!
