Decent "album" from Red Cafe, September 1, 2009
This review is from: Menu (Audio CD)
I first heard of Red Cafe around 1999/2000 when he was 1 of the 3 members of a group called Da Franchise, then started hearing him on some mixtapes here and there and a album here and there, and finally in late 07 DJ Envy & Red Cafe put out his long awaited solo debut, which is almost a classic so I picked this one up. For starters, it has 25 songs, but Red Cafe is only on 12, and 2 are on his "The Co-Op" album with DJ Envy, so it's not really a Red Cafe album/mixtape. Of the 25 songs, 1 is a classic, 2 are near classics, 6 are ok, 3 I skip and the other 13 are good, it easily could have been cut down to a 15 song album and left out some of the filler songs. For his fans maybe I'd pick this up, but it be nice if it had more of him on here and less guests.
