Waste of money! I was not able to play a decent game of chess on this portable game because the display made it too hard to distinguish the pieces!!! I had to hold it just right in order to see the screen and then it was still very difficult to distinguish pawns, rooks, and bishops - very frustrating when what you thought was a pawn is actually a bishop. It was even hard to distinguish black pawns from white ones! The black pieces are more shaded than the white pieces, but the display is so light that it's hard to tell the difference. Spent more time trying to distinguish pieces than focusing on my game! I was never able to complete a game without some error in recognizing pieces! I found it totally unusable. Big disappointment!
