This publication is aimed at the buyer who knows
very little about automobiles.Some nice pictures,
and a history about the Mercedes model,but not too
much information on the glitches these cars have.
Mentions some faults the Mercedes have, but most are common knowledge, like rust.If you know automobiles,you don't need this book,however, if you are a novice,then by all means pick it up as a guide for buying. Too much information is always a good thing,besides,I like pictures of Mercedes-Benz.

If you are looking to buy a R107 this book is great to have. Worth the $$$$. It should not be the only source of information (go also to online forums) but its very educational. It explains what to look for when buying these cars and how to do your own inspection.

As a very,very,very,serious auto-fanatic, this purchase was a total waste of money, not much money, but still a waste. I would avoid purchasing anything in this auto book series, and spend more money on other finer books available from Amazon about investing in a Mercedes-Benz classic or the many other collectible classics out there in the marketplace.
